    Webster Hall

    1953–1968

Built in 1886 as a hall for hire. In the 1950s Tito Puente, Tito Rodríguez and Pete Seeger played here, and from 1953 to 1968 RCA ran it as a recording studio, where Harry Belafonte and Tony Bennett recorded. On 2 February 1962 Bob Dylan played harmonica here on the title track of Belafonte’s Midnight Special, per Wikipedia.
