2002–2003Holcombe Rucker Park, which ABC7 calls the heart and soul of New York City basketball, is also entrenched in hip-hop culture. In 2003 the Rucker teams of Jay-Z and Fat Joe both reached the finals, per ABC7. Nas stops at the court in his 2002 video for “Made You Look”, per Time Out.

2016A portrait of Nas with the word “Queensmatic”, which went up in October 2016 on the corner of 21st Street and 40th Avenue, across the street from the Queensbridge Houses.
